St. Thomas Aquinas
  Learn easy techniques for meditating. Meditation will help relieve stress, reduce tension and help you focus on your goals. Wear warm comfortable clothing and bring a blanket and pillow.

Oakville Parent-Child Centre -- Mothers Are People Too -- February 16, 2012
We schedule over 60 programs for parents, children and families. This particular one is an ongoing program and is always on Thursday mornings from 9:15 to 11:15 am. Parents register well in advance for it and we also provide childcare for their children. We live in a fast world where we are closer technologically but farther away physically. Learn techniques to create a closer intimacy between yourself and others.(singles & couples welcome)

  STRESS RELIEF   The largest contributor to our problems today. We are surrounded by stress. Learn natural techniques to help you get relief and help you relax during stressful situations.

  MINI MASSAGES   Massage keeps the circulation flowing keeping a new fresh blood supply to the spine. Learn simple massage techniques to help relax the muscles in the back and shoulders. (Bring a bath towel to class)

  POWER OF POSITIVE   We can choose to be positive or negative. Learn how to promote positive thought patterns for changing and improving your life. (Bring a notebook to class)  
  THINKING
 
  MINI MASSAGES   Massaging this area can relieve headaches and anxiety and banish fatigue. The increased blood flow can reduce the lines in the face and prevent new wrinkles. (Bring a bath towel)

  INTRO TO   Relax and promote healing of the entire body by massaging reflex points in the feet and hands. (Bring a pillow, lotion & towel)

      Learn various techniques on meditation to help guide you to relax and relieve stress. Various guided meditations and thought processes will be presented to help you attain a more peaceful understanding of the process. Bring your own mat, pillow (optional) and wear warm comfortable clothing.
