MEDITATE YOUR MIND & BODY

 

May is meditation month. So many think that meditation is difficult but it isn’t. Meditation simply means to focus – not to stare but to rest your focus. Pick something soothing to focus on – a picture, pet, nature, comforting thought or a colour. Sit comfortably, tuck your chin slightly, relax and focus softly. Open your mouth and exhale slowly; close your mouth and inhale. Repeat slowing the exhalation more each time. Sit comfortably for several minutes till you are totally relaxed. Notice your breathing becoming deeper as you relax. Set aside a certain amount of time each day to do this simple meditation. Take your relaxation into the rest of your day. Enjoy and practice often in all the months of the year.

    If you do not know how to meditate well here is your answer. The Author has made it simple to understand , how to mediate on all levels. I read it at night and found myself so relaxed at a very stressed part of my life. I am a person who understands mediation and have done it for years.
